We did not found proper answer to your question related to the range.
Strange, similar info is found on more website, while it is really strange. We decided to delete radius of action from our page to avoid confusion.

In your description of the Westland Whirlwind, you describe it as having a radius of action of only 240km, but in the General Characteristics you say range was 1,300km. Which is correct?
